CHILDREN'S WATER FESTIVALS
NMACD hosted 2008 Children's Water Festivals in Artesia and in Carlsbad for fourth grade students and their teachers. Lessons from the Food, Land & People lessons were presented along with conservation information stations from our conservation partners. Amber Hughes coordinates the festivals. A BOR grant and local sponsors made these festivals possible.
